La fonction f est définie par f(x) = ax + b

f(1) = - 3 ==> a*1 + b = -3
f (-2) = 9 ==> a*(-2) + b = 9

a + b = -3
-2a + b = 9

La première équation peut s'écrire : b = -3 - a

Remplaçons b par -3 - a dans l'équation -2a + b = 9
-2a - 3 - a = 9
-2a - a = 9 + 3
-3a = 12
a = 12/(-3)
a = -4

b = -3 - a ==> b = - 3 + 4 
                     b = 1

La fonction f est définie par f(x) = -4x + 1

Une fonction affine est du type f(x) = ax+b
Là, on connaît f(x) ou y, et x. On cherche donc a et b:
1a + b= -3
-2a + b= 9
----------------- on soustrait membre à membre
3a =-12
a= -12/3 
a= -4
On remplace a par -4 dans la 1ère équation:
-4 + b= -3
b= -3+4
b=1
La fonction est donc f(x) = -4x + 1
